We are thrilled to announce that the Blue Climate Initiative’s #OceanInnovationPrize, conducted in partnership with the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development and the Sustainable Ocean Alliance, has attracted 236 applications from across the globe, including over 40 from islands! The applications encompass a diversity of themes from Marine Energy & Transportation to Biodiversity & Nature-Based Solutions, Ocean Carbon Dioxide Removal, and Blue Finance.
Our applicants’ ambitious and creative solutions are being reviewed, and semi-finalists will be showcased at the COP26 this November.
